Her education was in a different field. She earned a Master's degree in Commerce (Accountancy) and later worked as a 3D Character Animation Artist. That experience helped her develop an understanding of composition, lighting, balance, and visual storytelling.

Eventually, she returned to her passion for creating art by hand, leading to the beginning of Lavanya Art Studio.
